HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN TINGKAT KEPATUHAN PASIEN TB PARU DI PUSKESMAS LEBAKSIU KABUPATEN TEGAL

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Dukungan keluarga berperan penting terhadap pengobatan pada pasien TB Paru karena dapat mempengaruhi faktor kepatuhan pengobatan.

Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dengan Tingkat kepatuhan pasien TB Paru di puskesmas Lebaksiu Kab. Tegal.

Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien TB Paru yang sedang menjalani pengobatan di puskesmas lebaksiu dari bulan November 2023 sampai dengan bulan April 2024 berjumlah 35 pasien dengan hasil BTA positif dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling.

Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi Chi-square didapatkan p-value = 0,000 <0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara Dukungan keluarga dengan Tingkat kepatuhan pasien TB Paru di puskesmas Lebaksiu Kab. Tegal. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Dukungan keluarga dengan kategori Baik (54,3%) dan mayoritas pasien yang sedang menjalani pengobatan TB Paru dikategorikan Patuh (62,9%).

Kesimpulan : Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan Keluarga yang dengan pasien TB Paru mampu selalu mendukung pasien dalam masa pengobatan sehingga pasien akan selalu patuh dalam pengobatan hingga 6 bulan. Dan Keluarga dianjurkan agar selalu bisa memberikan dukungan pada pasien TB Paru seperti Dukungan Informasi, penghargaan, Instrumental dan emosional.

Abstract

Background : Family support plays an important role in the treatment of pulmonary TB patients because it can affect the treatment compliance factor.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between Family Support and the level of compliance of pulmonary TB patients at the Lebaksiu Health Center, Tegal Regency.

Method : This study uses a descriptive correlation design method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were pulmonary TB patients undergoing treatment at the Lebaksiu Health Center from November 2023 to April 2024 totaling 35 patients with positive BTA results using the total sampling technique.

Results: Based on the results of the Chi-square correlation analysis, a p-value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Family Support and the level of compliance of pulmonary TB patients at the Lebaksiu Health Center, Tegal Regency. The results of the study obtained Family Support in the Good category (54.3%) and the majority of patients undergoing pulmonary TB treatment were categorized as Compliant (62.9%).

Conclusion: The results of this study are expected that families with pulmonary TB patients are able to always support patients during treatment so that patients will always be compliant in treatment for up to 6 months. And families are advised to always be able to provide support to pulmonary TB patients such as Information Support, appreciation, Instrumental and emotional.
